Talented artisans in Chiapas, Mexico create these masterpieces from scraps of wool that they source from their own sheep.ย They wash, card, spin, and dye the wool before weaving on back strap looms.ย The cloth is then used for clothing and scraps are used to make the animals. Each magical piece is shaped, sewn, and then stuffed from the comfort of the artisansโ€™ homes. Due to the handmade nature and the use of scrap fabrics, each piece is unique and no two are alike.
