In September 1969, Vampirella #1 debuted as a companion to Warren's Creepy and Eerie Magazine, with a stunning cover and introduction page drawn by the legendary Frank Frazetta. It quickly made publishing history. In these first seven issues you'll find stories drawn by Neal Adams, Ernie Colon, Billy Graham, Alan Weiss, Reed Crandall, Jeff Jones, and Tom Sutton,among many others. Writers include Gardner Fox, Doug Moench, Nick Cuti, Forrest J. Ackerman, Don Glut, Bill Parente et al. All original covers (by Frazetta, Jeff Jones and Vaughn Bode), title pages and pin-ups. The writers and artists that contributed during the magazine's original run also include Jose Gonzalez, Archie Goodwin, Bernie Wrightson, Barry Windsor-Smith, Esteban Maroto, Frank Brunner, Mike Ploog, Rudy Nebres, Richard Corben, Pablo Marcos, and Wally Wood! This is only the beginning! Long out of print, here is a new printing of the first seven issues, just under 400 pages of stories and bonus features. Frazetta provides painted covers to Vol 1, 5 and 7.
