Besides being cover-featured on nearly all Exciting Comics issues, he had a long run of 30 issues in his own title and co-starred America's Best! This collection begins the amazing wartime Alex Schomberg covers. Iconic Nazi madness and atrocities...classics all! Art credits are fuzzy on the stories themselves, but Elmer Wexler and Ken Battefield did many. Covers not by Schomberg were most likely the work of Wexler. Bob Benton was a pharmacist working on a tonic to pep people up, who developed "formic ethers" instead, thanks to a comment made by his new assistant Tim Roland inspiring him along a new path.
