Collected together for the first time, the issues that lead up to and include the record-breaking Spawn #301, which went through three printings. This is the story line that changes everything...Including art from industry giants like Greg Capullo, Jason Alexander, Clayton Crain, Jerome Opeña, and Francesco Mattina, as well as a story penciled by Todd McFarlane himself. McFarlane set out to break the record for the longest running creator-owned comic...it was previously held by Dave Sim for 300 issues of Cerebus. This includes the prelude up to the record-breaking issue #301, with lots of help on the storyline from Todd's friends above. This marked the introduction of the newly expanding Spawn Universe, which would change all future storylines.
