Pine Slivers & Morrells D3 PVA Gap Repair Bundle contains everything you need to carry out a professional repair to gaps between traditional pine floorboards.
The bundle includes two packs of our hand-cut reclaimed pine slivers (available in either 6mm or 8mm sizes) together with 2 x 1kg bottles of Morrells D3 PVA Wood Flooring Adhesive, giving you a complete solution for durable, long-lasting floorboard gap repairs.

Professional Tip:
Pine slivers provide a much stronger and longer-lasting repair than wood
filler alone on wider floorboard gaps. Once bonded with Morrells D3 PVA,
the slivers can be trimmed flush, sanded and finished with the rest of
the floor.

Installation Overview
- Clean all joints thoroughly.
- Apply Morrells D3 PVA into the floorboard gap.
- Coat the pine sliver with adhesive.
- Tap firmly into place using a hammer or rubber mallet.
- Allow the adhesive to cure fully.
- Trim the sliver flush.
- Sand smooth before applying the chosen finish.

Once the repair has been completed and sanded smooth, it can be finished with most professional wood floor finishing systems, including:

- Morrells XL1 & XL2 Floor Lacquers
- Bona waterborne primers and lacquers
- Osmo Hardwax Oils
Important: Pine slivers are hand-cut from reclaimed timber, therefore colour, grain, width and profile will naturally vary. Each pack contains approximately 100 slivers, making every bundle ideal for authentic traditional floor repairs.
