NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC - Sega Dreamcast

NBA Showtime: NBA on NBC is a Sega Dreamcast sports game built around arcade-style NBA basketball. It delivers 2-on-2, above-the-rim action with real NBA players, NBC presentation touches, and the exaggerated feel associated with Midway’s sports lineup.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Fast-paced basketball gameplay focuses on dunks, special effects, and over-the-top animations rather than strict simulation.
• Choose from over 130 real NBA players, with hidden characters included for extra roster variety.
• Games take place across 28 arenas around the league.
• Create-A-Player mode allows a custom player with adjustable individual skills and abilities.
• VMU compatible for Sega Dreamcast memory card support.

The game comes from the same Midway sports era as NFL Blitz, carrying a similar arcade approach into professional basketball. Its NBC camera angles and NBA license give the Dreamcast version a broadcast-style presentation tied directly to the NBA on NBC brand.
