EROS IN VENICE

Venice is a city of history, art and culture, but also of amusement, pleasure and love. Rivers of words have been written about the magic atmospheres to be experienced in the narrow "calli" (lanes), in the "campi" (squares) full of light and among the silent "rii" (side canals) where Cupid suddenly strikes with his arrows, causing love to blossom in its sweetest and most serene form and where Eros causes the deepest and most irrepressible impulses of the human soul to burst out.
