Professional Tip:
Cork expansion strips provide a much neater finish than silicone while still allowing the floor to move naturally. Once installed they can be sanded flush and finished to blend with the surrounding timber floor.

Installation
- Cut the cork strip to the required length.
- Apply a suitable wood adhesive to the expansion joint.
- Press the cork strip firmly into position.
- Allow the adhesive to cure fully.
- Trim or sand flush with the surrounding floor if required.
- Apply the chosen stain, oil or lacquer to match the floor finish.
