Bona Quantum Flexible Wood Flooring Adhesive Sausage is a professional high-viscosity silane adhesive designed for precise gun application. It provides excellent initial grab, outstanding rib stability and a hard-elastic bond that helps accommodate the natural movement of timber flooring.
Ideal for solid wood flooring, engineered flooring and parquet, Bona Quantum Sausage is perfect for repairs, glue-assist installations, stair work and applications where controlled adhesive placement is required.

Recommended Application Tools
Bona Quantum Sausage is designed for use with a compatible 600ml adhesive gun . Where full-surface bonding is required, Bona Quantum is also available in a 15kg tub for application using a Bona adhesive trowel .

Where required, prepare absorbent subfloors using Bona D501 Adhesive Primer . If moisture protection is required, assess whether Bona R540 Primer & DPM is suitable before installation.
Application Conditions
- Air temperature: minimum 18°C
- Subfloor temperature: minimum 15°C
- Maximum relative humidity: 70%
- Allow the adhesive to reach room temperature before use.
Application
- Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and properly prepared.
- Insert the foil sausage into a compatible 600ml applicator gun.
- Fit the nozzle and cut to the required bead size.
- Apply the adhesive evenly to the prepared substrate.
- Lay the flooring into the adhesive within the stated open time.
- Check regularly for sufficient adhesive transfer.
- Remove uncured adhesive immediately.
- Avoid heavy traffic until the adhesive has fully cured.
